Fillings & basic care
Tooth extraction
Gentle removal of a tooth that cannot be saved, with a plan for the gap before we start.
We only take a tooth out when saving it is not possible or not sensible. Before we do, we talk through what will fill the gap — if anything needs to.
What happens, step by step
- 1
Numb the area
- 2
Loosen and remove the tooth
- 3
Stitch if needed
- 4
Gauze, aftercare sheet and a call the next day
Afterwards
- Bite on gauze for 30 minutes
- No rinsing, straws or smoking for 24 hours
- Salt-water rinses from day two
